The 7th Asia University Cup Campus Entrepreneurship Competition Results

The 7th In-school Entrepreneurship Competition of the University of Asia and the "Berkit" established by the students of the Department of Biosciences was awarded the first place and received a prize of 30,000 NT.

Asia University held the 7th Asia University Cup Campus Entrepreneurship Competition, the Industry-academia Collaboration selected the top 3 and 3 honorable mention from 13 teams of entrepreneurial project report. Su-Hua Huang, a teacher from the Department of Biotechnology directed Team "Berkit" formed by Jou-Fei Wu, Jui-Chun Kuo, En-Yu Liao, Yi-Ling Yang, Yu-Chieh Liu, Ling-Chen Chi, Yung-Chen Yuan, Tzu-Yu Huang. They combined biotechnology with the pursuit of human health, developed a pair of socks with enzyme layers. This biological layer contains self-discharging single-layer membrane of the enzyme layer is bonded on the fiber surface, so that the damage of the pathogen to the foot can be decomposed by using no chemical substance ointment. They get a bonus of NTD 30,000 in this competition.
