Asia University (AU) and GLM Immense Group has joyfully engaged in Industry-Academia Collaboration. On February 24, President Jeffrey J.P. Tsai and GLM GM Jhong-Ren Shih, representing respective institutions, signed a memorandum of understanding for strategic partnership and students Internship.

President Tsai expressed deep appreciation for the GLM donation of Cloud Computing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for the purpose of school education and hospital operation."In addition, AU is ranked by US News & World Reports are in the list of 1000 best universities in the world,” said President Tsai. He emphasized that AU aims to become an international university, and provides a total of seven ways for students to promote their international visions, namely, 1) studying abroad, 2) participating in academic exchanges, 3) working as interns, 4) joining volunteer programs, 5) publishing papers in conferences, 6) taking part in international invention, 7) design contests.

 

GM Shih said : We are in big data times. We hope GLM ERP can assist AU to cultitive more ERP professionals. We hope create a multi-win situation for GLM and AU, as well as domestic enterprises.

GLM donated a total of 950 sets of ERP software free of charge, and authorized three years for AU use. According to Chunghwa telecom leasing conditions, the value is up to 85.5 million.
