In recent years Asia University (AU) actively promoted well-known top corporate internship and Industry-academia collaboration program, Tien-Fu Lin, dean of industry-academia collaboration, promote this cooperation on March 3, 2006. Jing-Pha Tsai, president of Asia University, and Howard Zheng, vice chairman of Dongguan Bestway Estates Limited (Bestway Group), signed a letter of intent for top corporate internship and industry-academia collaboration. In the future, apart from industry-academia collaboration, training courses, internship program, there’ll be further more collaborations to come.

Jing-Pha Tsai, president of Asia University, said that for the third year, the Cheers Magazine held a university-performance evaluation by the presidents of 140 universities in Taiwan, and announced the top-20 best universities the other day. AU is listed as No. 4 and was awarded on Feb. 08 together with the other four top-5 schools, including National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and National Taiwan University. If only private universities are considered, AU is the No. 2 best in Taiwan according to the evaluation result, which is a great achievement because AU is the youngest university in Taiwan, only 16 years old so far. In addition to research and teaching, AU also wish to cultivate students to have the ability to work globally and obtain positions they desire once they graduate. This letter of intent will promote more opportunities for teachers and students to cooperate with Bestway Group.
