Interdisciplinary Highlight Program - Pastoral Tourism & Leisure Cycling Services Quality Improvement Program, Urban & Rural Development Department of Yunlin County Government as the organizer, brought by Asia University, has invited a group of foreign high school exchange students from four different countries (Poland, Canada, Brazil, and Belgium) and also the members of Rotary E-club. They will have an in-depth tour in order for them to discover the local food, knowledge, ecology and culture of Yunlin county on 25th and 26th of March, 2017.

 

It was just the time of Linnei’s purple butterfly activities. In order to introduce the beauty of Yunlin to the foreign exchange students, we visited the water power station, irrigation and water conservancy museum, historic tobacco barn, and Chinese bamboo flute factory. We traveled by bike. We also tasted the local food, such as large pineapple bun, taro cuisine and other local cuisines. All the local food tastes great and affords a lingering after-taste.

 

Urban & Rural Development Department said, by riding a bike, enjoying the view of the countryside, we hope to leave unforgettable memory to all the foreign exchange students. In addition, we would also like to introduce the beauty of Yunlin to everyone in order to attract more tourists to visit this beautiful place.
